If you have ever wanted to try SCUBA diving – Nassau is the perfect place. In just 3 hours you get up to speed and enjoy your first dive alongside your professional instructor. This course is a quick and simple learn to dive program. People who have never tried diving before can, in a matter of an hour, be on a boat enjoying their first scuba experience.

Included in this course is a short lecture, water skills practice (pool or beach), and a 1-tank boat dive with your instructor as your buddy. Your Resort Course includes the use of all diving equipment except a wetsuit. The boat you will travel on includes ice and fresh drinking water. Excludes: Wetsuit ($14.40 rental), snacks, other beverages besides water and tips to crew.

After completing the Resort Course, new divers can come back a second day and do a 2-tank boat trip with an instructor or divemaster as their buddy. Your Resort Course includes the use of all diving equipment except a wetsuit. The boat you will travel on includes ice and fresh drinking water. Excludes: Wetsuit ($14.40 rental), snacks, other beverages besides water and tips to crew.

Scuba Diving at Stuart Cove’s is fun and easy! Our Introduction to Scuba Diving course is designed for people who want to try scuba diving for the first time. In just 3 hours our professional instructors will have you diving with them on a beautiful tropical reef.

Your program begins at home with PADI DSD eLearning™, a short online presentation (20-30 minutes) that teaches you about the basics of diving. At Stuart Cove’s, you will continue your course by practicing scuba diving skills in a pool or shallow beach area. Then it’s onto a boat for your first dive on a shallow reef. During this dive your instructor will guide you on your first introduction to the Bahamas’ magnificent underwater world. (No additional fees apply.)

• 10 years of age.
• Good physical health.
• Basic Swimming Ability.
• Must complete the Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire BEFORE purchase to evaluate if your participation in a diving course requires your physician’s approval. If a medical evaluation is needed, please ensure your physician completes the included Physician’s Evaluation Form. Once approved for diving, you should bring all pages of the questionnaire and signed medical form to your instructor.

• Cannot be pregnant, no asthma, no epilepsy, no diabetes, no personal history of heart attacks or heart problems, strokes, no recently diagnosed High Blood pressure, no antidepressant medications or other potential contraindicated medications.
• No problems equalizing your ears on an airplane or in the mountains.
• Young children must be of adequate size to fit into the equipment and capable of carrying a 40-pound tank on their back.
• Children under the age of 18 must participate with a parent or guardian.
• Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on vessel.
