All visitors will be required to opt-in to mandatory COVID-19 health insurance when applying for their Health Travel Visa. Should a visitor test positive for COVID and be forced to quarantine, the insurance will cover travelers for the duration of their stay in The Bahamas.  Please visit https://www.travel.gov.bs/ for your Health Visa Application and information.  Persons experiencing issues with completing/submitting the travel health visa application should call 1-242-502-0839 or email [email protected].

As of 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.
